NORTHPORT, NY, April 16, 2013 – The Secure Decisions Division of Applied Visions has released a new version of its wireless network security visualization tool, MeerCAT®-Pro Version 4.1. MeerCAT®, a visualization tool to help identify wireless vulnerabilities and threats, and assess the risks to an organization was developed as part of a DARPA-funded research effort. It has helped many security professionals – including information security auditors, penetration vulnerability testers, and computer network defenders – conduct post-hoc analysis of data acquired from wireless site surveys and security audits. Director of Secure Decisions Invited to Participate in DARPA’s First Cyber Colloquium

Secure Decisions’ MeerCAT-FS Receives US Department of Defense Information Security Certification

NORTHPORT, NY, April 20, 2011 – Secure Decisions, a division of Applied Visions, Inc. (AVI) and developer of visual cyber defense and decision support tools, today announced that its MeerCAT®-FS product has been granted the Authority to Operate (ATO) on U.S Department of Defense information systems. MeerCAT®-FS obtained the ATO under the Department of Defense Information Assurance Accreditation and Certification Process (DIACAP). The DIACAP certification was received under the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) sponsorship as part of the Naval Research Laboratory’s (NRL) Flying Squirrel Wireless Assessment Tool Suite. Secure Decisions Wins U.S. Air Force Cyber Defense Contract

Division of Applied Visions, Inc. to adapt its network security visualization product VIAssist™ to improve the identification of cyber threats for Air Force analysts. NORTHPORT, NY, November 9, 2010– Secure Decisions, a division of Applied Visions and developer of visual analytic tools for cyber defense, has received a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) award under the US Air Force Firestarter program.
