Director of Secure Decisions Invited to Participate in DARPA’s First Cyber Colloquium

NORTHPORT, NY, December 13th, 2011– Dr. Anita D’Amico,  an information security and visualization specialist, Director of the Secure Decisions Division of Applied Visions Inc., was invited to participate in DARPA’s first  Cyber Colloquium on November 7th, 2011. The DARPA Cyber Colloquium will investigate future techniques and technologies for securing the Nation’s cyber infrastructure and assuring the Department of Defense’s cyber capabilities. Secure Decisions Wins Contract to Support the Development of DARPA’s National Cyber Range

Division of Applied Visions, Inc. is the only New York company participating in this program in support of the nation’s cyber security NORTHPORT, NY, June 29, 2010 – The Secure Decisions Division of Applied Visions, Inc. (AVI) has been awarded a contract of approximately $1 million to support the Phase II development of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)-sponsored National Cyber Range (NCR) program. Secure Decisions’ MeerCAT receives the Long Island Software Award

NORTHPORT, NY, May 24th, 2011 – The Secure Decisions Division of Applied Visions has been awarded the Long Island Software Award. MeerCAT® was selected as one of “Long Island’s Top Software Products” and received an award at the Long Island Software and Technology Network (LISTnet) event held on May 11th, 2011.  The Long Island Software Award mission is to “showcase the strength and diversity of Long Island's software industry by recognizing excellence in a wide range of software products. Secure Decisions Awarded Another U.S. Department of Defense Contract for MeerCAT®

Division of Applied Visions to deliver, maintain and support GOTS version of its wireless security assessment tool for government users of Flying Squirrel. NORTHPORT, NY, November 2, 2010 – Secure Decisions, a division of Applied Visions, Inc. and developer of visual analytic tools for cyber defense, has received an U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) award. Under the contract, Secure Decisions will deliver MeerCAT-FS, a government off-the-shelf (GOTS) version of the company’s wireless security visualization tool. The contract work includes maintaining the software application and providing third-level product support to NRL through May 2011. NORTHPORT, NY, March 15, 2010 – For the second time in its history, the Secure Decisions Division of Applied Visions has been honored by DARPA for its small business success gallery. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), research and development arm of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), selected MeerCAT®, along with a few other select DARPA-sponsored projects, to receive this recognition. MeerCAT, a tool designed to analyze wireless risks to critical cyber assets, is among an even smaller group of computer security technologies to be commended in this way.
