VizSec2011 Announces Symposium Chairs

Government, academic and industry leaders will lead the 8TH International Symposium on Visualization for Cyber Security. Secure Decisions’ MeerCAT-FS Receives US Department of Defense Information Security Certification

NORTHPORT, NY, April 20, 2011 – Secure Decisions, a division of Applied Visions, Inc. (AVI) and developer of visual cyber defense and decision support tools, today announced that its MeerCAT®-FS product has been granted the Authority to Operate (ATO) on U.S Department of Defense information systems. MeerCAT®-FS obtained the ATO under the Department of Defense Information Assurance Accreditation and Certification Process (DIACAP). The DIACAP certification was received under the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) sponsorship as part of the Naval Research Laboratory’s (NRL) Flying Squirrel Wireless Assessment Tool Suite. MeerCAT®-FS is the government off-the-shelf version of Secure Decisions’ wireless security visualization tool that is now available from NRL for authorized government users.
