A paper titled “Integrating Physical and Cyber Security Resources to Detect Wireless Threats to Critical Infrastructure” was accepted for presentation.
NORTHPORT, NY, December 14th, 2011 – A paper written by a team from Secure Decisions was presented as part of the Cyber Security track of the 2011 IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security (HST2011) held in Greater Boston, Massachusetts, on November 15-17th, 2011.
The IEEE Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security (IEEE HST) is the leading international conference addressing the challenges of homeland security technology innovation gaps. Since conception, this annual conference has gained prominence and recognition for bringing together science and technology leaders from around the world.
The presentation focused on a solution for monitoring, analyzing and reporting wireless activity. The WildCAT solution was developed by Secure Decisions in collaboration with the Applied Science Foundation for Homeland Security, and funded by DHS Science & Technology. “WildCAT” leverages existing physical security forces to help assure information systems security. It provides a rich visual interface for analyzing wireless networks and supports automated alerting based on risk categories to minimize time and labor costs associated with analysis.
