SBIR Research Project Will Develop a Visual Analytics System for Visualizing Mobile Cyber Assets Northport, NY – January 12, 2007 – The Secure Decisions division of Applied Visions, Inc. has been awarded the second phase of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) research contract, under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program, to improve the effectiveness of computer network managers in detecting and managing mobile cyber assets that are connected to the networks under their control. Secure Decisions will research and develop a Mobile Cyber Asset Tracking system, called MeerCAT®, that will provide an integrated visual analytics environment for analysis of mobile cyber assets from a variety of data sources. Secure Decisions' SecureScope product was entered a competition against a wide array of visualization products, and was one of only a few to be awarded an Honorable Mention.
