Rep. Israel Announces more than $5 Million in National Science Foundation Funding for Long Island
Congressman Steve Israel (D-NY-03) announced that the National Science Foundation will award more than $5 million in grants to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, SUNY Old Westbury, and Applied Visions, Inc. The grants will allow for key research in several distinct fields: genome research in plants, improving STEM education, and cybersecurity education.
